Our History of Commitment

Razormed Inc. is a leader in the innovation of safety medical devices and is committed to contributing to the reduction of sharps and needle-stick injuries by offering a choice of Safety-Engineered Devices.

The development of the SAFhandle™ safety blade and safety reusable metal handle system is the culmination of 38 years of experience in the design, development and manufacturing of surgical blades and scalpels.

In 1982 we developed the first weighted disposable scalpel, 20 years ahead of its time.

More recently Razormed Inc. was one of the first manufacturers to develop a Disposable Safety Scalpel - one of the most successful designs in the market today.

A Disposable Safety Scalpel fitted with the SAFhandle™ safety round-tipped blade will be launched later in early 2011.

Our range of safety-engineered sharp devices includes a Disposable Safety Stitch Cutter.
